Evaluate.
Upon your first visit with us, we’ll take you through a comprehensive examination in order to help us get a good assessment of your current injury/complaints as well as your overall physical health and function. This will allow us to obtain accurate baseline measurements regarding the status of your current pain, range of motion, strength, postural control, as well as any neurologic symptoms that may be present. From there, we’ll formulate a plan specific to your needs and goals so that you can begin focusing less on your pain and more on progress!
Treat.
Whether you’re suffering from a new injury or fighting a long-time battle with an old one, we will create a personalized treatment plan for you involving but not limited to progressive exercise, stretching/flexibility routines, postural control/correction, manual therapy, and modalities if necessary.
And don’t worry, you won’t just be handed a packet with generic exercises. We will always personally demonstrate each exercise/technique and train you on how to perform each properly so that you are able to maintain and improve your symptoms independently while not at the office.
Progress.
Physical therapy may be challenging at times, but we will be by your side every step of the way. We will always be motivating you, continually assessing your progress, and making modifications to your treatment plan when necessary. Rest assured; you will be a more functional, more knowledgeable, and healthier person following your time with us!
